Wings & Wonders: A Fun Birdwatching Session
28th Apr 2026
On Monday morning, both 4th classes were treated to a birdwatching trip with Mouse from OWLS. Among many others like robins, sparrows, wood pigeons, willow warblers, crows, rooks, herring gulls and magpies, we were in for an absolute treat when we spotted a very rare red kite flying right over the school! You can find out more about these fascinating predators here: https://birdwatchireland.ie/birds/red-kite/
Thanks to Mouse as always for helping us to explore and learn about the wildlife all around us. We have so much to take in if we just stop and look around!
