Junior Infants, Senior Infants and 1st class enjoyed a visit from author Niamh Donnellan in our Dream Den. She read some of her favourite parts from her storybooks: Little Irish History Heroes and Little Irish Folklore Friends to us, and we even got to see some of the props she brought in to show us. She captured our imagination by bringing characters such as Fionn Mac Cumhaill and Grace O' Malley to life, and she may even have inspired some budding authors and illustrators. We look forward to her next book.
