GAA
In SETNS we have been running GAA teams for over 15years. All children are welcome to join the GAA teams in our school, both boys and girls. We have made some amazing memories over the year and hope that this will continue for the next 15+ years.
Each year the teams compete in both the Cumann na mBunscoile and Fingal League competitions. These provide amazing opportunities for the children to play in Croke Park and Parnell park if they are successful in getting to the final! This is an experience that the children never forget, win or lose.
It is an opportunity for children who don't play GAA outside of school to play with their school mates. Through the years we have seen many children join the local GAA clubs as a result of playing with the school.
The children represent SETNS outstandingly when they are wearing the school colours out the the GAA pitch. We are so proud of everyone who participates. I am sure that it won't be long before we see some of our boys and girls wearing county colours in Croke Park!!!

We would also like to thank Teresa from Fingallians GAA Club who comes in on a weekly basis to teach GAA skills to all class levels and who has helped the girls' GAA team develop the skills and reach this year Fingal League Semi-Final.
Finally, to the parents who support us, help us get to and from matches and help with training the teams, we are forever grateful.
