27th February 2012
|It is with a great sense of celebration, though tinged with much sadness that we, in SETNS, anticipate Mary Lynch’s impending retirement as Deputy Principal and SEN co-ordinator on Wednesday 29thFebruary 2012. Mary joined the staff in the school’s opening year 2001 and since then she has endeared herself to the school community, pupils, parents and staff.
Mary’s commitment and dedication knows no bounds with her sole concern being for the wellbeing of pupils in her care. Mary has nurtured the ethos of the school and worked tirelessly towards the creation of an environment within which all pupils could realise their full potential. Mary’s wealth of experience and words of wisdom will be truly missed by all of us on the staff.
The staff and pupils are looking forward to celebrating Mary’s retirement on Tuesday 28th February at our Whole School Assembly.
On a personal note, Mary has been hugely generous to me with her time, knowledge of the school and friendship since my arrival as Principal. We know you will join with us in wishing Mary good health and new and exciting experiences in her retirement.
